Biography
David has worked in community based mental health services for over thirty years in a career spanning the UK voluntary sector, local authority services, and the NHS. From 2002 – 2005 he led on the Delivering Race Equality Action Plan in across Central and North West London NHS trusts, one of the UK’s largest mental health trusts at the time, delivering a range of mental health services across several London boroughs.. He recently set up somefreshthinking (somefreshthinking.com) an health sector change management consultancy. He is currently working on developing access to voluntary sector services for people with mental health problems from BAME communities with OCD Action, PLIAS Resettlement and the Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea BME Health Forum
